Hola!
This is Serio. That’s not the name I was born with, and when I began my journey into graffiti it wasn’t even the first name I chose.
I went with Serio, not only because I like how those letters look together, but mostly because I feel it represents myself in a unique way.
Why Serio? For two reasons.
I am a relatively serious person, perhaps more out of shyness than by choice.
And I am serious about my work – I love a job well done.
The name Serio also contains the letter ‘O’, which allows the name to have a serious face inside at the end of the tag. A win-win you could say.
I also have the surname of ‘The Creator’, as an homage to the American rap artist Tyler the Creator, and because I don’t like to define myself to any specific role. I am passionate on a whole range of creative skills, from illustration, graffiti, advertising, design, photography, and even rapping – ‘the Creator’ I feel fits to that.
